Andrew P. Swenson, PA-C works as a physician assistant at The Idaho Clinic: Hip and Knee Replacement. Andrew’s responsibilities include seeing patients in the clinic, caring for admitted patients, emergency room consults, and first assisting in the operating room.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in chemistry from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. Andrew is nationally certified by the NCCPA and holds an active PA license through the state of Idaho. After graduation, Andrew worked in Pediatric Orthopedics at Texas Children's Hospital before moving to Idaho. Andrew has gained specialty training in orthopedic trauma and sports medicine but found his passion for hip and knee arthroplasty by working with Dr. Daines helping patients get back to the things they enjoy most.
Andrew and his wife, Brooke, have one son, Max, and three daughters, Amelia, Lucy, and Nora. They enjoy spending time together in the great Idaho outdoors hiking, exploring and camping. Andrew enjoys dirt biking, boating, golf, and traveling to new places.
