Dr. Jared Armstrong completed his bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University-Provo and completed both medical school and residency at the University of Louisville. Dr. Armstrong furthered his training in total joint replacement with a fellowship at The CORE Institute in Phoenix. He is board certified by the ABOS, a fellow of the AAOS and a member of the AAHKS. Dr. Armstrong is expert in the direct-anterior approach to the hip and has performed thousands of direct-anterior total hip replacements, total knee replacements, and hundreds of revision hip and knee replacements. He is trained in computer-assisted and robotic-assisted hip and knee surgery. He also performs specialized limb-salvage surgery. Dr. Armstrong has a love for serving under-privileged communities. Since coming to Boise, he helped found the Idaho chapter of Operation Walk. With OpWalk-Idaho he traveled to El Salvador with other fellowship-trained total joint surgeons and medical professionals where they performed more than 50 total knee and hip replacements for people who otherwise would never have had access to these services. Dr. Armstrong is also fluent in Spanish after having lived in both Spain and Honduras. Jared lives in Meridian with his wife, Jenny, and their three children. When he isn’t working, he enjoys riding his bike (especially up to Bogus Basin), participating in triathlons and working on his pistol marksmanship . . . but mostly, he likes to spend time with his family. Dr. Armstrong loves his job and genuinely loves to see the improvement total joint surgery can make in the lives of his patients.

Dr. S. Bradley Daines is a fifth generation Idaho physician and was born in Boise. His grandfather and father both practiced orthopaedic surgery in Ada County for years, and he has two older brothers who are also orthopaedic surgeons. Dr. Daines has performed more than a thousand hip and knee replacements. He was fellowship trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery, long considered the #1 orthopaedic hospital in the United States and the birthplace of the modern total knee replacement. The Idaho Clinic emphasizes rapid recovery, and most surgeries are performed as outpatient procedures with same day discharges to home. In addition, Dr. Daines is one of the few surgeons who uses the Mako robot to perform all primary joint replacements including total hip replacement, total knee replacement and partial knee replacement. Dr. Daines is also skilled in complex cases including revision for trauma, infection, instability and implant failures. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Daines is a past President of the North Pacific Orthopaedic Society and has served as affiliate faculty at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Idaho State University. An alumnus of Borah High School, he graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with a degree in biology. Through the WWAMI program, he attended the University of Washington School of Medicine, graduating with Honors in 2009. He completed orthopaedic residency at the University of Vermont. Dr. Daines lives in Boise with his wife Maji, and their two children, Cutler and Audrey, as well as their dogs and chickens. He enjoys golfing, tennis, skiing, fishing, and enjoying all the wonders Idaho has to offer with his family. He is also an avid fan of all things Boise State. "Trust forms the foundation of a physician/patient relationship. My team will work hard to maintain your trust. We can't wait to help you get back to enjoying what you love!"
